Home Reviews Treehorn "Amine"

Taken from Vincebus Eruptum N°9

I had the pleasure of seeing a live performance by Treehorn before listening to “Amine”: they have a very heavy but definitely hypnotic   sound when they play live! But there's too much heaviness and speed in the album, that I can't appreciate as perhaps you might.. the eight tracks sound too much hardcore for my poor ears, that are used to and pleased by more psychedelic sonorities, maybe also because of the recording quality, except for "Four Grey Walls". This song contains some psycho-meditative moments. I really suggest “Amine” to fans of The Melvins and of similar sonorities.. but not to those who have my music taste...
